MORTGAGE LOAN
BBT Branch Banking And Trust Complaint by Congo

Lied on a mortgage loan. Used two different figures to get the loan through and now we are faced with foreclosure. And they won't work with you. The loan officer Pete Crumbley was getting ready to retire and by changing the figures he was able to get more money for himself. They also threw in 2 home equity loans which we did not ask for so they could get more money. When we went to close we started with someone different than who helped us with the loan. Now we have money missing from our accounts and have no idea where it is. You can't trust them.


(This is true! My math on my mortgage application was all wrong. I am not good at math and I had trusted the loan officer to do it right. Fortunately I had a person smarter than me, and on MY side look at this paperwork first. READ EVERYTHING. Never let them tell you, "Don't worry about it." )
