Eyewitness NewsUNIONDALE (WABC) -- The New York Islanders and their fans hope to score big Tuesday with a rally in support of building a new arena.
Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano wants taxpayers to put up $400 million to build a new home for the team, which currently plays in the aging Nassau Coliseum.
He's leading a major rally in support of the project.
The rally comes right before the Nassau County Legislature begins a decisive hearing on the plan.---
