I am not keenly following stats about this blog and the state of readership, some of it showing in the blog page, but it appears that a few readers registered these recent days. Thank you and merci. There are more interesting blogs by certified interpreters around - I am not trained nor certified nor doing simul although I kind of remember having met a long time ago someone who taught at the infamous Westminster -  and something is brewing recently over Twitter at least that looks like some interpreters clad with the full credential set are talking in public, outside of the holy grail private clubs. It's largely a girls club conversation, unsurprisingly. You may like to know that a vast majority of page views are originated from North America. Following but by half is Japan. You shed another half and find France as a far, far away third country. The next contenders is The Netherlands, but so small is the readership that it doesn't much matter where the viewers are coming. If adding registered readers featured on the blog page and Google Readers, you are close to 50, but I am not sure the two sources are totally separated. It doesn't matter that this is an ultra confidential blog. I just received news of a "unconference" on matters of translation to be held in Switzerland the coming Summer. The unconference concept is interesting and would one day apply to matters raised here as well as in fellow interpreters of all kinds writing in their own blogs or other means of expression.
