Sprint files complaint against AT&T, T-Mobile merger

Eyewitness NewsWASHINGTON (WABC) -- Sprint is fighting back against the merger between AT&T and T-Mobile.

The cell phone company has filed a formal complaint with the FCC, saying having such a large company would hurt competition that could result in higher prices for consumers.

It suggests that instead of spending $39 billion for T-Mobile, AT&T should spend the money expanding its congested network. (Copyright ©2011 WABC-TV/DT. All Rights Reserved.) Get more Science & Technology »
